P0sixspwn 1.0.2 For Mac Jailbreak Tool With Fixes For LTE And OS X Lion Support

Today, P0sixspwn for Mac has been pushed up to version 1.0.2, and as well as providing LTE fixes, will also resolve issues encountered by those running OS X Lion 10.7

Such is the very nature of a jailbreak, in that it allows much deeper access to system files and whatnot, that snags tend to arise soon after release. Those using P0sixspwn have been lucky in that any bugs seem to have been kept to a minimum, and with the release of v. 1.0.2, those problems pertaining to LTE should be eradicated for good.
Moreover, those having trouble with P0sixspwn for Mac powered by OS X 10.7 Lion, which was released all the way back in 2011, should now be able to enjoy seamless operation, and it should also be noted that the app should work with OS X 10.6 as well.
We may be relieved to see the very first untethered jailbreak for iOS 7 across the board, but we’re still stoked that the latter versions of iOS 6 have been given some attention as well. P0sixspwn is capable of jailbreaking all devices running iOS 6.1.3, 6.1.4, and 6.1.5.
Even though reaching a jailbreak is, in theory, getting harder for the security experts as Apple continues to plug the holes, the likes of Evad3rs and Winocm seem to be making fairly light work of it. iOS 7 was, after all, only released in late September, and although we didn’t hear much by way of progress reports until the jailbreak was ready for prime time, the trusted individuals that comprise the jailbreak scene have come through once again.
So, if you want to grab the latest version of iH8sn0w and Winocm’s P0sixspwn, you can do so from the link we’ve embedded below. If you have already jailbroken your iOS 6.1.x running device using this tool with success, though, there’s no need to re-jailbreak.
