P0sixspwn Jailbreak Tool For Windows

Initially only available for users running OS X, the P0sixspwn jailbreak for iOS 6.1.x has now been updated and made available for Windows users with immediate effect.

This particular release of P0sixspwn sees the Windows version of the software sit at version 1.0.3, with the OS X offering remaining at the 1.0.2 release that introduced fixes for LTE enabled devices as well as OS X Lion support. It was only a matter of hours ago that one of the developers behind the software announced to their Twitter followers that the Windows version was in the final stages of testing. The relatively rapid turnaround seems to indicate that the testing processes went off without a hitch, although the proof will be in the feedback from those users who actually interact with it to liberate their devices.

If any of our faithful readers remained unsuccessful in jailbreaking their device running iOS 6.1.3, 6.1.4 or 6.1.5, then it could be worth attempting the process again with version 1.0.3 for Windows. By the team’s own admission, the latest version to be released is actually a lot more stable than the currently available OS X version, which is P0sixspwn 1.0.2, meaning that previously encountered problems could actually have been removed by now.
As with most jailbreak tools, the developers won’t fully be aware of all possible issues until it has been mass tested by the intended audience of the different devices that it supports.
For those Windows users who are still running iOS 6.1.x and have been shying away from hitting the upgrade button to iOS 7 just to get a jailbreak, then panic no longer. To get immediate access and download P0sixspwn 1.0.3 for Windows PCs follow the embedded download link below.
